What has happened to good manners? It seems that no matter where I go people are rude. I rarely hear a thank you when I hold the door or hand something to a stranger. People talk loudly on their phones in public and bump into others or walk in front of them . I don't know why its okay to be rude. Good manners are a sign of respect for others. They make everyone's day better. I try to be polite and courteous. I am going to try to go out of my way to be polite even when others are not. I need to remember to treat others the way I want to be treated.
